Self-Care is NOT Selfish...

Self-Care is NOT Selfish...

I’m a mum. I know how easy it is to look after everyone else in your family and just keep going. One foot in front of the other and whoosh, the day is over. You collapse into bed and are fast asleep in seconds. You don’t know why you’re so tired and have no energy. You get overwhelmed so easily and find simple things so difficult. I always thought tomorrow I’ll start looking after myself, I can handle this. Then the wheels start to fall off.

Planning for the Unknown is Smart...

My husband [oh no we’re not married, but it’s easier to call him that – boyfriend sounds hilarious! – for all intensive purposes, he IS my husband] and I have had a will for many years and have ensured it is general enough to stand the test of time and not require constant updating. I CANNOT believe how many people don’t have one and don’t want to talk about it. OMG people!

Spark Joy and Order Your Chaos

Life is fast and it’s hard to keep our homes, cars, offices and brains on track with clarity… I’ve found the best therapy is to chip away at finding some order in the chaos and you can even make a bit of extra $$!

I’m a thrower and I can’t really understand hoarders. The idea of hoarding makes me feel claustrophobic – that’s another story.
